The Trustees


Alun Rogers

Alun is co-founder at risual helping form the organisation 15 years ago, and is very much involved in the day to day running of risual with the management and leadership team. Previously engaged in governor and charitable roles, Alun is also Chairman of the Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Local Enterprise Partnership and is heavily involved working across public and private and sector organisations in the area focusing on economic development to bring prosperity and opportunity to all.

Kate Lincoln

Kate's role as Operations Director sees her with responsibility for risual's operations including Quality, Human Resources and Finance. Being with the company for over ten years, Kate has seen risual passionately support the local community, charities and initiatives alongside many fundraising activities led by an eager group of colleagues. Outside of risual, Kate enjoys her external roles of primary school Governor and secondary school Careers Enterprise Advisor.

Kate is excited to be one of risual Foundation's Trustees, seeing risual’s impact develop through an energetic and enthusiastic Board, bringing new ways and ideas in which risual can make a positive difference.

Richard Proud

Rich is a co-founder of risual limited, founded in 2005 with best friend Alun Rogers. The business was started to build, run and grow a company we can all be proud of. With this in mind and as part of our 15 year anniversary we decided to embrace the power of our charitable mindset, resources and establish the risual Foundation. My personal ambition is for the foundation in a principled, predictable and autonomous way make a positive difference to people’s lives. We are in a very fortunate position to help others and this will remain our focus and passion.

Amanda Sharp

Amanda is Head of Managed Services at risual with responsibility for driving the Managed Service business to support and manage client's IT environments. Amanda is particularly proud of the opportunity that her team has been able to offer local young people career opportunities through the risual Apprenticeship scheme, over 3 quarters of her team have worked their way through a risual apprenticeship and form a strong, customer focused, flexible team.

Amanda is honoured to be part of the risual foundation, she has always been pleased to have been involved in risual’s previous charity work and outside of risual, Amanda has volunteered her time with a number of animal charities and with a scheme aimed at bringing theatre to those who may never normally get the chance to see live theatre. Amanda is eager to see the foundation develop new and creative ways to help to improve lives.

Brian Cain
Brian is Head of Consulting at risual and is accountable for all of risual’s business and technical consulting activities. Brian has been with risual since 2011, starting as a Consultant and working various consulting and management roles throughout this time. Brian has championed the support and development of people within risual by developing a culture of continuous development and community within the organisation. Brian has always enjoyed supporting risual’s charity work and sees this as an important aspect of being a risual team member. Brian is excited for the opportunities that the risual foundation will provide to benefit the wider community. Outside of risual, Brian enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the great outdoors either mountain biking or hill walking.

The Board

Andrew Hutchinson

Andrew is part of the risual Bid Management Team as a Solutions Owner and he shares ownership of the risual Services Portfolio. Andrew also provides support and oversight to the sales and marketing team, getting involved in the planning and delivery of Strategic projects and programmes and key marketing initiatives. A key fitness enthusiast, he can often be seen taking part in charitable events or training in the gym, striving to bring his passion and enthusiasm to any environment. He has seen first-hand the power that exercise has on his own mental health and wellbeing, and he believes the Foundation is a great vehicle for sharing this with a wider audience, helping others to make a positive change to their own lives, and the lives of those around them.

Abigail Inglis

Abi is part of the Sales team at risual and has worked here for 5 years now starting off as an Internal Account Manager working her way up to being an External Account Manager. The reason for wanting to be a part of the risual Foundation is to make a positive impact on those around and use some of the skills acquired to help others. Outside of work Abi is massive animal lover and has a very adored Sprocker spaniel and also enjoys horse riding.

Charlotte May

Charlotte leads risual's HR team and is excited to get involved in the risual Foundation as a Board member. A keen sportswoman, Charlotte can often be found on the hockey pitch, as both a coach and a player. As a member of Stafford Cricket and Hockey Club Management Committee, she has seen first-hand the impact that sporting groups can have on the local community and would love to see this continue through the risual Foundation, offering opportunities for sports and exercise for all

James Nixon

James is the Sales Manager for risual and takes responsibility for looking after and maintaining positive and healthy relationships with its clients. With the company for over 5 years now, 2019 saw James become a local Councillor for the Swynnerton & Oulton ward where he sits on a number of committees. Keen on the outdoors, James is something of an avid gardener in his spare time, a Wolves fan and loves a game of squash where he typically loses! Having been a board member for two other charities previously and seeing the great impact you can have on people and society, James is eager to see what can be made possible through the efforts of the risual foundation.

Jim Pallett

Jim (pictured left) has been a software and web developer for over 20 years, during which time he somehow found time to raise 3 well adjusted children
During his spare time he is a keen amateur musician and movie geek.
He is looking forward to making a positive impact on people and communities with risual foundation.

Mollie Sutton

Mollie is the Marketing Lead at risual, and has been part of the family for nearly six years. Mollie is passionate about helping people and families wherever she can – previously raising over £3,000 for a 10,000ft Skydive to celebrate the anniversary of the Road Safety Charity, Brake. Mollie is looking forward to taking part in her next adventure with risual foundation to drive as much positive change to people and communities as she can.

Jack Thompson

Jack is the Microsoft Partner Manager here at risual and is really pleased that the company is giving even more back into the community. When not on the Rugby pitch Jack is usually doing some form of DIY on his house (Badly) or searching for the next sporting thrill (most recent, zip lining over a quarry at 100mph). Looking forward to watching the development of the foundation and how we can help those less fortunate, or those who just need a hand.

Lucy Tomkinson

Lucy leads the finance team at risual Limited as well as being the company accountant and is excited to be a board member for the risual Foundation. Lucy is a keen football fan, supporting her beloved Stoke City, attending the matches most weekends. When not watching the football, Lucy can often be seen helping her partner on the family farm.

Abby Williams

Abby leads the Business Analyst team at risual Limited and is excited to be a board member of risual Foundation to give back into the community. Abby can often be found in her garden or with her dogs enjoying the great outdoors. Abby is passionate about helping others and has been involved in various charity efforts that includes jumping out of a plane. Abby is eager and excited to see what positive impacts risual Foundation can make to the communities around us.

Tom Burton

Tom has been an IT Engineer with risual for the last 5 years, and is excited to be part of the risual foundation board, hoping to make a positive change to the people we support. Tom is a keen Stoke City football fan and a film geek in his spare time
